Last night I went to see Company of Thieves perform in Troy, NY at Revolution Hall, which is a generally fun place to see a show. I had been listening to their album for a couple of weeks and had generally only warmed up to a couple of the songs on the album.
Quite honestly I was shocked at what a fun band they were live. Genevieve Schatz is just a ball of energy and has a really strong, interesting voice. I think their album doesn't do her justice, quite honestly. So, all in all it was a strong, engaging and interesting show. Here's a clip of them playing Oscar Wilde which has been their radio single on Carson Daly. I wish that it could be from something else, but it is what it is. Enjoi.
